Afterschool Policy Advisors Network (APAN) Luncheon
Afterschool and summer programs serve as an invaluable time for young people to develop critical workforce skills at all ages. Join fellow APAN members and interested local leaders for a luncheon and networking opportunity.
Hear from Erik Peterson, Vice President, Policy, at the Afterschool Alliance about the new Administration’s educational priorities and how they may impact federal funding and policies for afterschool and summer learning. Enjoy a dynamic peer exchange with city officials about successful strategies to ensure young people have access to quality afterschool programs. Learn about connections local leaders are making between afterschool, skill building and workforce development through new innovative cross-sector partnerships.
A free, non-ticketed hot lunch buffet will be provided. All are welcome, but space is limited and elected officials get first priority.
