NLC University – An Introduction to the Intersector Process: Cross-Section Collaboration in the Public Sector
This session is designed to introduce public-sector officials and staff to key management tactics for cross-sector collaboration. Through a review of best practices, relevant case studies, and facilitated discussion, this session will equip participants with knowledge to inform the design and implementation of effective partnerships and better understand the value proposition for cross-sector collaboration. The training session will also provide an opportunity for practitioners to reflect on how the differing language and culture of multiple sectors can be better navigated to improve the practice of public-sector-led collaboration.
