Dean M. Kueter, Jr. has spent nearly 25 years advocating for the needs of law enforcement and public safety. Prior to this assignment, he was ATF’s Chief of Legislative Affairs. Kueter joined ATF at the end of 2014 after 4.5 years at the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) where he was Chief of Staff. Before joining DOJ, he represented Major Cities Chiefs Association, and before that, served as Director of Government Affairs at the National Sheriffs’ Association.
