Parents ask all sorts of questions before their children visit other homes—allergies, pets, and parental control settings. With nearly 1.7 million children living in a house with a loaded, unlocked gun, thousands of children are injured or killed every year. The Asking Saves Kids (ASK) Campaign encourages parents to ask if there is an unlocked gun in the homes where their children play. ASK encourages parents to add one more question to the conversation that has the power to save lives. Discover resources for local leaders to reduce the risk of fatal injuries caused by guns and specific actions you can take to protect your community.
