Decisions by the nation’s courts are having a growing impact on the business of cities, towns and villages. From legal challenges to the Obama-era Clean Power Plan, to questions on everything from broadband and telecommunications services to vaccine mandates, the courts have been busy hearing cases with important consequences for local governments. In this workshop, participants will explore key cases before the Supreme Court and lower courts affecting diverse municipalities. You’ll also engage directly with legal experts about pending cases that could impact your community.
