Adam Guzzo leads the office’s engagement with local governments in the eastern half of the Unites States, and has subject matter expertise in the areas of benchmarking and energy data management. Guzzo has more than ten years of experience in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Prior to his current role, Guzzo provided data analysis and communication support to DOE’s Weatherization Assistance Program, researched energy market data and analyzed price trends and input costs for a renewable energy start up firm, helped implement a new biomass program at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and served in the Vice President’s office at the White House. Guzzo has a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three girls and coaching and playing soccer.
