Broderick Johnson recently returned as a Partner to Bryan Cave LLP, where he previously led the firm’s Public Policy and Government Affairs practice. Broderick has had the distinction of serving under two U.S. Presidents. Under President Barack Obama, Johnson served as Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary, and was appointed chair of the White House’s My Brother’s Keeper Task Force. In the Clinton White House, Broderick was Deputy Assistant for Legislative Affairs. Johnson has served in numerous senior positions on Capitol Hill, and was also chief Democratic counsel to two standing committees. His private sector career has included senior positions as Vice President for Congressional Affairs with the AT&T and BellSouth corporations, and Johnson is also responsible for co-founding the strategic consulting firm, the Collins Johnson Group. Johnson serves as chair of the Board of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance and is on the board of the Wolf Trap Foundation. He has also led several other mentoring and youth empowerment organizations. Johnson has also been appointed an adjunct professor at his alma mater, the University of Michigan Law School. Johnson holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan, and is a member of the DC Bar.
