Biography

Dr. Pete D’Adamo is a Senior Technical Advisor and former National Water Treatment Director for HDR. He has over 43 years’ experience as an environmental engineer and scientist, and has been directly responsible for the planning, evaluation, design, and construction management of numerous water treatment and utility projects. These treatment systems have ranged in size from 0.1 to 318 mgd. Dr. D’Adamo expertise includes master planning, process evaluation and selection, bench scale and pilot testing, operations troubleshooting, training and system start-up, water quality investigations including managing and treating PFAS, HABs, and other Contaminants of Emerging Concern as well as reuse applications.
