Erin Dahlin

Erin Dahlin works on cross-department issues that impact AmeriCorps and Senior Corps, including growing and supporting the portfolio of national service projects in Indian country, supporting members and volunteers with disabilities, Veterans and Military families outreach, program partnerships and data analysis. Dahlin also leads the agency’s Employers of National Service Initiative, a program that builds a talent pipeline which connects AmeriCorps and Peace Corps alumni with leading employers from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to create recruitment, hiring, and advancement opportunities. Dahlin began her affiliation with National Service right after graduating from college – serving as an AmeriCorps member with City Year Boston, and then as a Team Leader with AmeriCorps NCCC. Dahlin has been employed at the Corporation for National and Community Service since completing her AmeriCorps service. Prior to her current position, she served as the Acting Director of AmeriCorps VISTA, in several key leadership roles with AmeriCorps NCCC, was a Team Leader and Program Officer with AmeriCorps State and National and a Recruitment Coordinator. In her community, Dahlin volunteers her time as a Girl Scout Leader, is longtime volunteer with both Rebuilding Together Alexandria and her children’s schools and is Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees for the Del Ray United Methodist Church. Dahlin holds Bachelors Degrees from Boston University in Political Science and Communications, and has a Masters of Education degree from Harvard University.
