Frankie Clogston serves as the Vice President of Knowledge Management and Development at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).  In her role, she provides management, conducts research and implements technical assistance for IEDC’s grants and grant proposals. Dr. Clogston spearheads IEDC’s equity initiatives, including the Playbook for Equitable Economic Development with suport from he Rockefeller Foundation, Kresge Foundation and Surdna Foundation.  The Playbook examines structural racism in economic development and promotes equitable practices and standards through research and technical assistance in 10 Equity Communities.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford University in Economics and Urban Studies and a Masters Degree and PhD. from Johns Hopkins University in Economics and Political Science.  Dr. Clogston has a Certificate from the Racism, Immigration and Citizenship program at Johns Hopkins University.
