Kenan Fikri manages a research program that aims to better understand how the U.S. economy is evolving and what it means for people and places. Fikri’s work informs a policy agenda designed to forge a more dynamic and entrepreneurial economy all throughout the United States. Prior to joining EIG, Fikri was an Associate Fellow at the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program and a consultant with The World Bank. Fikri obtained his Masters Degree in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and his Bachelor’s in International Relations and Economics at American University.
