Lawrence Lyman

Mr. Lyman is a Public Policy Professional with more than 20 years of service to the Travis County community. He has extensive experience in Community assessment, planning, program design, and evaluation across a wide range of human service issues, with a focus on education and workforce development.
In addition to this work for Travis County, he is involved in a number of community service roles, including the following capacities:
• Board of Directors, Capital Area Workforce Development Board
• Texas Opportunity Youth Leadership Council
• Executive Committee, Community Advancement Network

He also has degrees from Rice University (BA) and the University of Texas (MPaff), and ½ of a Master’s in Political Science from Louisiana State University.
