Nick Kasza is a Program Manager on the Sustainability Team at the National League of Cities. Nick provides local governments with the resources and solutions they need to become more sustainable and resilient. His primary responsibility is to manage the SolSmart program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy which recognizes leading solar communities and empowers additional communities to expand their local solar markets. He helps deliver technical assistance to local governments pursuing SolSmart designation. Nick also works with cities as they strive to improve local resilience through the Leadership in Community Resilience Program. His areas of expertise are energy policy (with a special focus on solar and renewable energy) and city sustainability practices and programs.
