Steve Yamamori is a dynamic and seasoned strategic leader with deep roots in Arizona’s nonprofit community. With a 20-year career working strategically with community leaders to elevate a variety of organizations, Steve has honed his skills in developing successful partnerships with businesses, civic and municipal leaders to support the underserved community.
Currently, Steve serves as the President and CEO of the Reveille Foundation that serves transitioning military, veterans and spouses as well as our formerly incarcerated and Native American Communities. Prior to that, Steve was the Director of Military and Veteran Programs at Maricopa Community College’s Rio Salado College creating an innovative and holistic program model to support those who serve our country. This collaborative program has served the needs of more than 5,000 active duty military, veterans, and their dependents across the Valley. Partnering with local municipalities has resulted in fundraising efforts that amount to more than $2.5 million for sustainable programming.
Steve is a graduate of Arizona State University and will complete his master’s degree from Northern Arizona University in May of 2019. Steve serves as the current Governing Board President for Litchfield Elementary School District and is a Maricopa County Justice Court Hearing Officer. He has lived in the West Valley for nearly 16 years with his wife, Aimee and his daughter, Lilly.
