Intergovernmental Affairs Liaison
Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs
Sylvia Doyle’s current primary responsibility is to work with intergovernmental associations like the Big 7 to help them understand the functions, resources and programs of the U.S. Census Bureau. The 2020 Census will be her second decennial with the Census Bureau; during 2010, she worked as a liaison to Congress.
Prior to re-joining the Census Bureau in December of 2016, Sylvia ran her own business as a health coach and worked at the Food and Drug Administration as a regulatory counsel. A native of the DC area, Sylvia received her Bachelor’s from the University of Maryland and her JD from George Washington University.
